Doug BensonChris and I have a love for live comedy which originated back in college when we used to go see the comedians that came to campus. Surprisingly, Eastern brought in some big names, and for free entertainment it was more than worth it. That said, EWU never did a good job promoting the events, and so oftentimes students never knew about it. It was not uncommon for us to show up to a comedy show and only have 25 people in the audience, which of course made for evening full of jokes about how ho-dunk our town was (which was slightly warranted).
This last weekend, we saw the infamous Doug Benson. He's been to Seattle quite a few times, yet we could never seem to make the shows, but this last weekend the stars finally aligned. And he was absolutely hilarious. So funny, that at one point Chris actually looked like he was crying from laughing so hard.
You might remember Doug Benson from a little VH1 Show called "Best Week Ever". Or you may remember him from "Last Comic Standing". Either way, totally a great way to spend a Friday.
Now I can't wait for May when this guy comes to town...

I love seeing comedians too! It's been awhile since I've gone to a show though. I need to check one out soon!
