Wednesday's Tip!

I hate laundry. It's not the putting it in the washer and "doing it" that frustrates me; or even hanging up all my clothes on my wooden laundry rack (I air dry most of my laundry to prevent shrinkage). What annoys me to no end is the multiple loads of laundry that I do on laundry day. There's usually never enough room on my rack so I end up draping clothing items over every chair in my apartment. And most frustrating is the actually ironing (I avoid as much as possible) and actual putting away of clothes.

Okay, so lately I've been trying this new thing, and it's working out really well for me. I do one load of a laundry a day. That's it! I'll wash my bed sheets, and that's it. The next day, I'll wash my towels- and stop. Then maybe the next day I'll venture out and do my darks. And so on and so on. I'm still doing the same amount of laundry- but I just spread it up over the week. Now, instead of having a designated 6 hour laundry spree on Saturdays, I spend about 20 minutes everyday actually dealing with it. It's not really too genius of an idea- but it sure makes chores a lot more manageable!

*In other news, this is my 51st post! Whoo Hoo- I am such a little blogger!
