Attention All Blondes!

I once read in one of my biology books that blue eye and blonde hair genes are actually abnormal mutations (don't get mad- I have blue eyes!). Back in caveman times, when there were more women on earth than men- the male population essentially chose their mate (because there were less of them to go around). The men would try and choose the most exotic looking female- which at the time was females with blonde hair and/or blue eyes. This is the reason why we still have these identifying characteristics still floating around today. Kind of crazy. Today, while I was reading my daily health anecdote from my rip-away calendar, I found similar interesting information.

"According to a study by the World Health Organization, natural blonds will probably be extinct in about 200 years because there are simply too few people let carrying the blond gene. The WHO predicts that the "Last of the Natural Blondes" will be born in Finland sometime during 2202"

So, to all you blondes out there (ahem, Jessica, *cough cough*), you better start producing mass amounts of children to carry on your legacy!
