Untooning

Blogger highlights notable blogs on what I think is a weekly basis. There really is no rhyme or reason to who gets chosen- just whatever blogs appeal to the Blogger creators when they stumble upon them. To be perfectly honest, I rarely look at them because the few times I have they've been really lame and boring. However, I was intrigued by the blog's address (pixeloo.blogspot.com), and was happily surprised.

From what I gathered, the blog's author works with photoshop in his or her's career, and decided to start a blog to display some of their work they do on their free time. The concept of the work is "untooning" notorious cartoons and making them look realisitc. Here are three images they created: Mario (Ninetendo); Homer (The Simsons); and Jessica Rabbit. There is actually a video on how they did Jessica Rabbit on the actual blog- pretty fancy!
